Introduction

We made it.
Six reflections. Two weeks. One chapter.

Matthew 25 is not a text you read once and file away. It’s not something to admire. It’s not meant for a decorative Bible quote on a Christian mug.

This chapter is meant to work on us.

To trouble us.
To teach us.
To transform us.

We have reached the end of Jesus’ public teaching, and what does He choose to leave us with?

Not a creed.
Not a doctrine.
Not a catechism.
Not a liturgical instruction manual.

But a warning and a promise wrapped inside one truth:
The way we treat the people we can get nothing from… is the way we treat Christ.

It is the very reflection of what he has done for us… We, who can offer Him almost nothing, were treated to greatest blessing of all… Eternal Life with the Father. Recall the new commandment: “Love One Another as I have Loved You….”

And Jesus says it plainly.
No parables. No metaphors. No poetic riddles.

You found Me in hunger, or you didn’t.
You welcomed Me in the stranger, or you didn’t.
You visited Me in prison, or you didn’t.

Faith is not just what we believe with our minds.
Faith is how we love with our lives.
