Tonight: The Sermon on the Mount Like You’ve Never Heard It Before
A free, live Bible study at 7:30 PM Eastern. Bring your questions.
Friends,
I’d love to spend this evening with you.
Tonight, Tuesday, October 27, at 7:30 PM Eastern, we’re gathering here on Substack for The Sermon on the Mount Like You’ve Never Heard It Before. The study is free, and you’re very welcome to join us.
We’ll take a closer look at some familiar promises. What does it actually mean to inherit the earth, see God, or be called a child of God? And how do the Beatitudes fit beside the Ten Commandments? Moses has not been made redundant, in case you were worried.
After our September 29 study of the Prodigal Son, one participant wrote:
“I took FOUR full pages of notes tonight.”
Another had returned to the recording several times:
“I have listened through it 3 times, sitting with it and chewing on it and crying through it.”
Last month reminded me how much I enjoy teaching this way, with your questions helping shape the conversation. You don’t need to prepare or arrive with a theological vocabulary. Bring your Bible if you like, or simply come and listen.
Be sure to download your participant packet here. It’ll help you follow along and take notes for later.
If you can’t join us live, a recording will be available soon after we finish, so you can watch when it works for you. If you can make it tonight, though, I’d love to have you in the conversation.
And yes, Father thinks he’s figured out last month’s technology problems. Your prayers remain very much appreciated.
Join me tonight at 7:30 PM Eastern.
See you this evening, friends.
