My Dear Sisters and Brothers,
What if the reason prayer keeps falling out of your life… isn’t a lack of discipline?
What if it’s the way you’ve been taught to think about it?
Most of us carry around the same quiet assumption, that a real prayer life requires more time than we actually have. So we try to fit it in. We make a plan, set a schedule, commit to doing better… and for a little while, it works.
Until it doesn’t.
Because life doesn’t slow down to accommodate our intentions. Work runs late. Responsibilities pile up. Something unexpected demands our attention. And before long, prayer becomes one more thing we feel like we’re failing at.
So we stop trying.
Or we carry the guilt of not doing enough.
But what if prayer was never meant to be another task on your list?
What if it wasn’t something you had to add to your life… but something you could begin to discover within it?
In this reflection, we explore a different way of understanding prayer.
Not as performance.
Not as wish-making.
Not as something reserved for ideal conditions.
But as something that can take root in the middle of your actual, everyday life, in the small moments you usually overlook, in the spaces you normally fill without thinking.
This is part of A Centering Lent in a Chaotic World, a series designed to help you find a deeper, more grounded way of living your faith without needing to escape your life to do it.
If you’ve ever felt like prayer doesn’t quite fit your reality… this is for you.

But you don’t have to take my word for it…

Here’s what one of our incredible community members recently said…

”I am incredibly thankful that I’ve found you. This ministry struck a chord with me from the get go. I’m all in! Your words are just what I need to feel like I belong to something that addresses the priorities I think are so important.”

If this resonates with you, I invite you to continue.
